Come join Chris for a week-long, life-changing event. The Diamond Double C Ranch becomes your home for 6 days as Chris leads you to a higher level of understanding and communication with your horse. What you will learn during your stay will permanently and positively change the way you deal with your horse. You will not only benefit from the group lessons, but will receive personal instruction from Chris.
You will learn to:
- Understand how the horse thinks and why.
- Communicate effectively in ways the horse understands and respects.
- Master the ground work that essential for every horses foundation training
- Develop confidence in yourself as a rider.
- Master collection, lead changes, stops, turn-a rounds and much more.
At the end of the week, you will head home with a new enriched concept of how to communicate with your horse and establish a relationship of respect and understanding. The number of participants in each clinic is limited to ensure an ideal learning atmosphere. 5 levels of course training are offered depending on the level of participant experience
Cost:
All 6 days clinics cost $2,299 per participant which includes a room, 3 meals a day and a stall for your horse. (We are unable to provide feed due to potential health risks to your horse and the vast differences in diet).
Payment Terms:
Due to a specific number of people required for each clinic, we require a minimum deposit of $1,000 paid upon receipt of our invoice after your application is approved. The final balance will be due no fewer than 45 days prior to the clinic start date. You are responsible for calling to make this payment. If you fail to pay your remaining balance when due, we'll assume you have cancelled and you will be subject to the following cancellation provisions.
Cancellation:
$300 of the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining amount paid is refundable only if the spot can be filled by another participant.
Note:
All clinic deposits are non-transferable to another person.

To protect the safety of our participants and their horses we do not allow studs/stallions in our clinics. If you do not have a mare or gelding to bring, we do have horses for rent at a rate of $600 per week. We do allow auditors at all of our 6-day clinics. Call for information. Chris offers 5 levels of Horsemanship training. You must complete each previous course to qualify for the next level. Please remember that Chris does not offer a beginners course at this time. You must be able to walk, trot and canter on a loose rein to qualify for horsemanship I. It all starts on Monday morning at 8:00am with a hearty breakfast at the ranch kitchen. Chris will start the clinics with an orientation and introductions. Below is a general outline of each level.
