Have a Plan: Each time you go out to work with your horse, have a plan of exactly what you want to accomplish that day. This will keep you working through a program with consistency. If you don't have a plan, time gets wasted, and you're likely to fall back on something you've already done and bore your horse, or move ahead too quickly not having thought about what your next step should be.
